CGA has been invited to develop proposals for a modest complex of artists’ studios on central Cambridge, to meet extremely high demand for low cost, flexible workspace.

The building will occupy a back lot behind a Victorian villa. Constructed in a controlled palette of brick and zinc, the building barely announces its presence from the street but reveals dynamic, contemporary forms and detailing upon arrival. Internal spaces will be robust and raw and flooded with natural light.

The scheme awaits Planning consent following a positive Pre-App with the City Council and we greatly look forward to delivering this much needed, unique and exciting scheme during 2017.
